CECILIA POWERS, LCSW-S

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor (LCSW-S) with more than 20 years of experience serving children and families involved in family law, child welfare, and court-related matters. My practice focuses on parenting facilitation, child custody evaluations, adoption evaluations, supervised visitation, and other services designed to help families navigate complex transitions.
I provide virtual and in person services in Texas, Oklahoma, Utah, and Tennessee. I offer Child Custody Evaluations (Texas Family Code 107.104) Through my work with Between Two Homes Direct Services, I work with Bradley Craig, LMSW-IPR and we offer parenting coordination, parenting facilitation, supervised visitation, coparenting coaching, and related family court services. Together, we help families reduce conflict, improve communication, and make decisions that support the best interests of children.
As a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), I participate in ongoing training related to family law, conflict resolution, child development, and court-involved families. My work is grounded in professionalism, objectivity, and a child-focused approach.
My experience includes working with birth families, adoptive families, kinship caregivers, and high-conflict families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I have extensive experience assessing family dynamics, documenting findings objectively, and providing recommendations that assist families and courts in making informed decisions.
I also have significant experience supervising parent-child visitation and supporting structured opportunities for family contact in different scenarios.
Whether families are navigating high-conflict custody disputes, developing parenting plans, pursuing adoption, or working toward reunification, I provide objective guidance, clear communication, and practical solutions that support children and families through challenging transitions.
